Saunders Trades and Technical High School was the first public trades school in New York State, opening in 1909. Over the course of their four years at Saunders, students have access to both vocational and academic instruction that provides them with skills for employment and academic preparation for college.

The Graphic Communications program is New York State recognized Career and Technical Education Model Program. Our students consistently earn awards and recognition for their work, while learning and applying real-world employability skills. The curriculum is made up of predominantly live jobs with real clients, which fulfill the students CTE Work-Based Learning requirements.
